Where are the Josephs? Where are the Daniels? This question was asked a number of years ago. When God answered He said to look to the universities for the Daniels, and to look to the prisons and mental health institutions for the Josephs. Just like Joseph in Genesis many of those who are called to speak for God have ended up inside. How would Joseph be treated today if he said the dreams of people bowing down to him while at school or in Church? This is compounded by the devil wanting to destroy those who he perceives to be the greatest threat to him. If Satan cannot kill them he will try and derail them and steal their anointing through abuse, sexual and physical, which all too often leads to the type of behaviour that ends with a custodial sentence.
Taking its name from the Anglicised spelling of the Hebrew word for Joseph, The Yosef Company exists to train those in prison or recently released to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit, including hearing from God and praying for healing. This includes walking with them as they go through prophetic counselling/inner healing to deal with the issues and behaviour patterns that led to their incarceration. While it recognises that there will be the need for safeguarding protocols to be in space The Yosef Company aims to help people become who God sees them and is calling them to be rather than how they and others view them at this time.
